Hi,

Hope this is the right group....

I have two menus, the 2nd filled in based upon the first (via javascript).
I want to hide the 2nd menu when it's empty, which I'm currently doing
with:

elSel = document.getElementById("menuID");
elSel.style.display="none";

This works just fine, but then I thought I'd add a label to the menu.
Hoping that it'd disappear along with the select menu when it was hidden,
but no joy.

Now, obviously I could give the Label an ID of it's own and then get and
hide that as well, but is there a way to go directly from a form item to
it's assoicated label?

(I'm mainly doing all of this in order to learn, so any answer will be
appreciated).

Please learn the difference between HTML and scripting languages.

The question certainly isn't specific to javascript, that just happens to
be the language I'm using.

Thank you very much for the pointer to the correct group.
