The "Hide File Extensions Of Known File Types" option will not stay checked.
I am running Windows XP Professional SP2. I can check the option box, apply
the option, and it will only stay checked until I log out or restart. I do
not want the extensions shown and it is just an irritation to have to
re-check and apply every time I log back in. Does anyone know of a possible
fix or workaround to this issue. Thanks in advance for any help.
