ok, so everybody already knows this right?

there's all these people pulling down our posts and using them as content
for their sites.

not that bad an idea actually. i suppose there's nothing unethical about
it....just doesn't seem very....i dunno....

but how much can it be doing for them? hello, duplication of content?

here in the UK, i've seen an ex-pats website that has incorporated various
travel related usenet groups into it's website.

It looks well and obviously has fresh content, that brings folks back to
the website.

But I always wondered about the legal issues ie does google not have some
level of copyright on usenet posts?  Or can we all incorporate usenet
posts/newsgroups into out web sites?

i *know* google is not usenet.

But like I said in the thread, how do you actually provide an RSS newsfeed
to a newsgroup, unless you do it via google's archive?
