If I understand, you get the application running properly on your PC with an
HDMI input. Is the application running when hooked on to your Phillps HD.
You should be getting an HD signal with your Hauppage product.
Is your problem when you switch to the TV input or turn on a channel, then
your application does not work. If that is the issue I don't think that it
is a problem. Your TV input will not work with a PC application. It would
need it own input like a coaxial (if the TV has a QAM signal) or an antenna
coaxial; if it is an ATSC receiver.
If you are running your cable/antenna/HD input into Hauppage, you need to
buy a splitter from Radio Shack; and get a coaxial from the splitter into
your TV input in order to get your TV running properly
