The Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-S-Plus is a DVB-S (satellite) TV tuner card. At present
M3edia Center does
not natively support DVB-S. Hauppauge do have drivers that make it look like a
DVB-T card to Media
Center so that you can then configure it. It is well described in this posting
on the Hauppauge
forum http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/board/showthread.php?t=14887

Probably although terrestrial Freeview in New Zealand is MPEG4 rather than the
MPEG2 of Freeview
satellite & most other DVB-T services worldwide. At present Media Center does
not support MPEG4 so I
suspect that you may need to change the regional settings on your system to
another that does have
Media Center supported DVB-T.
