Check the manufacturer's data sheet (from their website) as to what the
maximum temperature is. They do vary, but 54 C strikes me as a tad on the
warm side. However, I have known these temperature monitoring programs to
fib more than just a little. It's far better to get a thermocouple on the
drive itself, if you have access to one.
