I'm newish to HTML coding and web designing i am currently designing a
Intranet page but want to have a area i can sign onto when working
around site so that i don't have to log the user out of the computer
to log back in as admin. So my question is how do i get a username and
password login screen to look to a username and password access
database or anyother way of doing this??
regards

If you can't work on the site when you're logged in as a (normal) user
then why don't you log in as administrator
and stay that way?

The way you phrased your question, I don't think this is about html
authoring;
this is about user-autorization on your network. You should talk to your
systems-manager.
