Hi!

Is there any way to have HTC S621 / S620 connected to ethernet (i.e.
connecting to Internet through ethernet connection)? My work place
have no WiFi / WLAN and installing WiFi / WLAN access point is really
frown upon, but apparently connecting to ethernet port by wire is
acceptable.

I would like to safe some KB fees, if possible. :-)

Thanks!

There's no way to connect the 620 by ethernet, but if you can convince
your employer to let you install Activesync on your work PC, you could
connect via USB and use the "internet passthrough" functionality to
access the internet through the LAN.

Or maybe he could 'jack in' via Bluetooth or IrDA?

Perhaps, but I believe that would still require Activesync for internet
functionality on the PPC.

I am thinking about this as well, using Bluetooth access point (IrDA
access point is rare these days). Can HTC S621 / S620 dial to a
Bluetooth modem (Bluetooth access point can act as a modem) or
directly connect to Internet through a Bluetooth access point?

Thanks!
