Please log in for more thread options In general, any firewall-like app could cause this whenever there are
updates to the Media Center files, especially when it is blocking on an
application-level basis (the updates change the files, the firewall thinks
it is an 'unauthorized' file, end result, block!).
Moral of the story, if you run any firewall software, you have to be aware
how it works and its implications in common scenarios like this.
