Anyone noticing anything strange about their Godaddy account, especially
when trying to modify anything?

When I try, I am directed back to the domain listing page, under the URL
https://dcc.godaddy.com/default.aspx?sa=??

Better watch. You know who from the other group we are in may have gotten
them to do something to your account...

I have had problems using .htaccess with GoDaddy. The biggest problem
is that they don't really publish any kind of a technical note
describing the eccentricities of their implementation of .htaccess.

Getting .htaccess to work on GoDaddy is kind of like shaking a box,
listening to something rattle inside, and trying to figure out what it
is.

I guess their unstated policy is that if you need to modify .htaccess
you should probably go with a different host. I'm thinking maybe
hostgator or dreamhost.

Anyone know which host lets you do reasonable things with .htaccess in
shared hosting -- for example, RewriteRule.
