Hi,
I have recently installed ESRI ArcMap 9.1 on my new work PC.
Whenever I try and add a GeoTIFF to the current project it does not
display at all and I get the following error:
"the following data sources you added are missing spatial reference
information. This data can be drawn in ArcMap, but can not be
projected."
This presumably should not affect the display of the GeoTIFF it will
just be in the wrong place.
There is no preview in ArcCatalog even though the image is viewable in
an image viewer.
It does not appear to be a version problem as another colleague has the
same version and can open the same files successfully as can another
colleague with an earlier version of ArcMap.
I can open regular TIFF and JPEG images in ArcMap.
Any ideas?
