I have AS4.1 and WM5
Desktop sync works fine as does server to Exchange
I can connect to exchange and desktop using USB connection
I can connect to Exchange when using GPRS

What is confusing me is that when the device is connected to the LAN which
also has the Exchange server using WiFi, if I sync with Exchange then it
always activates a GPRS connection, even though the Wi-Fi is connected.

Is there a setting somewhere to tell it the preference of each connection?

Hi,
Are you using Cingular's e-mail program? If you are then when you sync it
tries to sync the e-mail as well.

It seems that whenever I want to access the Internet it goes online with
GPRS even though WiFi is connected. I just tried the web client and that
does the same thing.

I think I have found the problem.

I had my WLAN connection connecting to "Work" instead of "The Internet"
I assume therefore that the device couls only see one connection with
Internet access (The GPRS) and therefore wanted to connect for what it
perceived as an Internet request?
