Hi all,

I am sure that has been asked more than once but I just cannot get
anything working!

I have an unlocked SPV E200 phone with a Vodafone Spain SIM Card. I
would love to be able to use Instant Messenger on the phone but I
cannot get the Internet access to work. I called Vodafone and they
activated the GPRS service on my account. Now all I am lacking is the
configuration (and a HOWTO would be fantastic!!!) to get online.

So, if anyone can help i'd buy you a virtual beer!

TIA.

After much pain, frustation and generally cursing, I worked it out.
So, to save anyone else the pain here is the config below. This should
work for any phone but I did it on an unlocked Orange SPV e200 with a
Vodafone SIM.

Connects to: The Internet
Access Point: airtelnet.es
User name: vodafone
Password: vodafone
Primary DNS: 212.73.32.3
Secondary DNS: 212.73.32.67
IP Address: 0.0.0.0

i have the same, an unlocked orange spv with a vodafone sum card in it
the only way i can connect to internet is the swap the sim card to an
orange one
i have tried your settings and still get nothing
i opened IE then menu then options then connections check box
"automatically detect settings" and chose select network - the
internet
then i went to settings/data connections/internet
connections/menu/edit connections/GPRS connections and it had listed
orange gprs/orange mms and orange wap
i added vodafone GPRS and put in the setting you gave
i then went back to internet connections and under internet connection
i selected vodafone gprs but all i get is unable to connect
am i missing something ?
TIA
stan

Is it a spanish SIM Vodafone card? As the above settings will not work
for anything else.
