Hi,

I am looking for the town boundary data found on the web site mentioned
a few lines further down, please read the following before visiting the
web site...

When you arrive please try the following clicks on the map...

south east
west sussex

http://www.findaproperty.com

You will notice that the county is split up into town or town council
districts (not sure which, because I cannot find any data that matches
what is shown!)

I've looked at all the OS data and whilst they offer many products I
cannot see it, I can find counties, wards, electoral but nothing that
matches the shape of this data...

Does anyone have any idea where this type of data originates

Many thanks
bigfella

bigfella,

I live in Surrey so I've looked at the Findaproprty areas for this
county and it looks like they've used Ward boundaries to create the
areas. They've combined ward boundaries to create the larger areas, so
that's why they don't immediately look familiar when you look on the OS
website. They will have used the Ordnance Survey BoundaryLine product
to combine the Ward boundaries to make the ones on the map.
