Hi,

Anyone know if there is a full browser for a Cingular 3125 smartphone?
The PIE is nice-but totally can't stand the limitations.
Opera Mobile isn't out for Windows Mobile 5.0
IMHO, this is the only thing holding back mobile devices.

Not that anyone from MSFT may see this, but, full browser support for mobile
is needed, BADLY!!

Any help here?
or am I stuck with limited browsing?

Jeff

The only browser that works better than PIE on Smartphones is Opera
mini, but it has its limitations too. One among them is that it
doesn't handle java applets. All other browsers are designed for
Pocket PCs. I'm referring to Opera 8.6 and Netfront. Microsoft has
announced that Windows mobile codenamed Photon will blend Smartphone
and Pocket PCs features into one. Photon is expected in 2008. Be
patient...

It all depends what you mean by a full browser.

You are never (well not for severeal years at least) going to get all
the features of a desktop browser.
What, specifically, is missing, in your opinion.

I have Opera mini working on my WM 5.0 device. It is out.

Windows Mobile 6, does come with a new version of PIE, which is
supposed to be much improved. (I haven't used it yet.)
