Is there a way to check email more frequently than 15 minutes? Registry hack
perhaps?? Also, is there a way to leave pop mail on the server?

Yes you can check mail more frequently by changing the connection value
under options 1/3 of the mail account setup in pocket outlook. I believe
you can set it was low as 1 minute but to conserver battery it's probably
better to set to maybe 5 minutes. If you want msgs to stay on the server
with pop3 then you will have to select the option to "get message headers
only" on options page 3/3 of the mail account setup in pocket outlook. Than
you can set the option to include "x" amount of the message.

When I go through the setup for an email account, the lowest connect
automatically and check for messages setting is 15 minutes. This is on the
Audiovox SMT5600. Is there another setting somewhere??

On my i-mate sp3, I go to activesync on the phone and then do Menu, Options,
Mobile Schedule, Peak Time Sync, and I have the options Manually, When new
items arrive, Every 5 minutes, Every 10 minutes, Every 15 minutes, Every 30
minutes, Every 60 minutes, Every 2 hours, Every 4 hours.

That setting is for wirelessly syncing to Outlook and Exchange, if I am
correct. I am interested in POP Mail, and the shortest increment appears
to be 15 minutes. It would seem that this could be changed in the
registry to make another option available. Thanks
