Hi:
When I looked at some machinery products, it asked to
download 'Free' iTunes. Otherwise, I was unable to examine
whether this product was suitable to my needs. The product
has 'moving' parts needed to demonstrate for its customers
at e-Store.

Then, I downloaded iTunes and Quick Time Player
as its web-site advised, in order to see all of moving
parts.

However, wonder what iTunes along with Quick time Player
is contributing to the site which is a lot of machinery products.
Or, just ad. purpose by using the site I went?

Also, is there NO harm for me to download some of music
and movies listed iTunes?

Thanks for your help in advance.

For what you want to do you don't need iTunes. It is merely the fact that
Apple only provide an installer for QuickTime that includes iTunes in the
same package.

You most likely only need the Quicktime browser plugin. If you install
Quicktime Alternative[1] without all the bloat, it should be enough.
