Hello,
I have a web application where one of the admin features is to print a
list of foreclosure listings.
The client wants to have two cases per page printed.
I have figured a way to insert page breaks so that once you print out
the html page listing all the cases, that it would pag break after
each 2 cases and that works great. however in the worst case scenrio
where all fields are populated it could enough to push the second case
on to the next page causing the second case to be partially printed on
2 pages instead of both on 1.
I possibally can not gaurentee this with html, since depending ont he
data it could push it over to the next page and then do a page break
leaving the second page mostly empty and the remainder of the first
one on top.
What solutions are available for me?
I have thought of exporting it to excel as a csv file however I
wouldnt know how to format or force excel to do page breaks.
If anyone who has come across this problem please let me know what
types of solutions are available.
I would prefer to do it html however I know html has bounderies and I
think I have already reached them
MAybe a third party software? Acrobat? dont know

Opera is really the only browser that offers a decent level of CSS print
support.

How did you insert a page break with HTML?
CSS provides page-break-inside: avoid, but according to the browser
compatability information at
http://www.blooberry.com/indexdot/css/properties/print/pbinside.htm
Opera supports it after version 3.5, but IE and Netscape don't. The site
doesn't mention Mozilla, and it doesn't appear to have been updated since
January 2003.
