Hello NG,

I use MS Outlook 2003 and syncronize it with my WM 5.0 device.
In Outlook I formatted my phone numbers in the international format
like -for germany-
+49 (0) 7731 xxx xxx. When synchronizing these numbers with my mobile
device, I can't dial any numbers.
So here's my question:
How should numbers be formatted in Outlook to work both with mobile devices
and an installed VoIP-Tapi-Software (Cisco Softphone)?

Can anybody tell me?

Thank you in advance,

kind regards,

Uwe Kuehne

Hmm - I would not necessarily blame Outlook for that. I have a lot of Euro
formatted numbers with the optional (0) and mine syncs to a K-Jam and then
dials fine

Remove the "0". It is not part of the phone number. "0" is a dialing prefix,
and should not be included in the phone number. The correct format for
telephone numbers in Germany is: +49 (aaa) nnnnn, where aaa is the area code
(2-5 digits) and nnnnn is the subscriber number (3-9 digits).
