Forced client disconnect problem. Gerry Armstrong 12-05-2005

I have a problem with my clients being disconnected form the network at the
same time every day that is driving me around the bend. I have set the
Network Security: Force logoff when logon hours expire policy to Disable but
it is still happening. I have also checked that the Logon Hours for the
users has no time restrictions at all so they should have access to the
network at any time of day. The domain consist of a SBS2003 server and a
2003 Standard server both Domain controllers and 25 Windows 2000/XP Pro
clients. Currently the SBS2003 server is only providing Exchange services
and is not being used as a file server, the 2003 Standard server is
providing fileservices only.

Is there something I am missing here? Any suggestions as to what I should
look for?

Thanks for any input guys.

Make sure all machines are having their group policy updated.

I've had it in the past where certain machines have been such a pain in the
backside and have refused to update.

Is there a way to force the update of the policy on the clients from the
server?

Ok, sorry to sound stupid but I need to confirm something first, this
command will need to be run on the SBS2003 server or the 2003 Standard
server I assume but will it matter which one? Another question, are these
policies not updated automatically on the PCs when the login? The clients
are turned off every evening and on in the morning so I was assuming that
the policy changes should update automatically, is that not correct?
