Firewall ports necessary for Exchange Activesync Jonathan 10-25-2006

Are there any ports or services that need to be open in order for exchange
activesync to function properly?

I have a Motorola Q that functioned great until I upgraded the firmware.
Now it cannot sync with my exchange server. I get a support code error
85030028 "Cannot obtain a valid certificate." I am wondering if this is
happening because the firewall is blocking the certificate.

The firewall is the only other device that has changed on our network since
I upgraded to the AKU2 firmware to on the Q.

Thanks in advance for any insight.

In ActiveSync on your Q, go into Configure Server and see how the "This
server requires an encrypted (SSL) connection" checkbox is set. I suspect
it's checked; if so, uncheck it and try again. As to the ports used, 80 and
443 (HTTP and HTTPS).
