It offers to remember sign-in combinations but only offers. Fill Form
doesn't otherwise seem to do anything else but it sure asks for the password
for access to the Fill Form data it's possibly storing. And I get prompted
every time now. Perhaps I should turn this off too...!

Hi Stephen,
This is Ramana Sarma, working for MSN Search Toolbar. As per FormFill
feature, it asks for password every time we try to visit the FormFill
options/data. It’s a mandatory to enter the password before visiting the data
in options. You can unselect the option “Prompt me for a password when…”
which is available in Sign-in information frame of options, to escape the
password prompt before filling the sign-in information.

Please let me know for any more information/clarifications
Thanks & Regards,
- Ramana Sarma

I unselected the prompting option right after installing the toolbar. It
makes no difference whether it's checked or not. I uninstalled and
reinstalled it, unselected the option again, now I get no prompt for my
fillform password as before. But the inconsistent nature of fill-in by the
app almost makes you want to uninstall it. Sometimes the username/password
combination on ebay for instance fills in. Sometimes it doesn't. There's
no consistent pattern, and it makes the skeptical part of me wonder how
inconsistent the storage and security of my usernames and passwords in
toolbar's storage space is as well.
