After updating to the newest version of MSN Desktop search, queries which use
fields (like "from:smith" or "ext:doc") always return zero results.
Interestingly, this feature worked with the earlier beta version. The
metadata gets indexed, because I can see it in the query results (i.e. the
email comes from Smith). "Normal" queries (which do not use any metadata
fields) work as expected, but of course they return way too much results.
I am using a german WinXP Pro SP2, but I experience the problem at home on
my german WinXP Home SP2, as well.
Anyone else experiencing this problem? Any ideas how to correct it?
