After loading WindowsXP Media Center my Sony VAIO Desktop PC, the fan runs
at full speed. In the past with XP Home, the fan would change to low as
soon as Windows booting progress bar completed but not any more... Any
ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Rob

Since MCE 2005 only does a clean installation, you're probably missing a driver
for your motherboard/chipset.
