Both Cingular and Audiovox have been completely unhelpful.

The problem is this: when I set up ActiveSync to grab email from our
exchange server, it works ONCE. All subsequent attempts to sync get an
error. If I enter a bogus user name, try to sync, error, then enter the
appropriate user name, the sync will work again but only ONCE.

Sounds like buggy software to me. Anyone else get this? Anyone have a fix?

The error I get is:
"Your account does not have permissions to sync with your current settings.
Contact your Microsoft Exchange administrator."

"An error occurred, and scheduled synchronization had to be disabled. To
start synchronization on a schedule again, use the Mobile Schedule tab in
ActiveSync Options.

Error code: HTTP_400"

Of course, this error seems inaccurate since I AM able to sync... ONCE, as
described above.

I have mine set to sync every 10 minutes. It has worked out of the box.

Was yours the ATT version? If not, anyone out there have the AT&T version
of this phone, and successfully set it up to sync with an exchange server???

Yes; no problems. Syncs whenever a new email hits the server.
