I have my WM 5.0 device connected using Exchange ActiveSync (toExchange 2003
SP2) just fine except that I don't have access to our corporate contact info
(in the GAL). There there something I can do to get this info downloaded
rather than having to duplicate all our employees in my Contacts list?

Thanks.
Jon

Does your device use the new AKU2.0? This latest update, that has been
released by the first operators this month, should provide a separate
application to allow access to the GAL.
If your device does not do this, then you may need to move the GAL contents
into your personal contacts. Or, just enter enough of the name for the send
to work out who you are sending to once it connects into the Exchange
Server.

I don't know but assume so since the Palm Treo 700w just came out. How can I
find out?

I did try entering an address that only exists in my GAL (not in my
Contacts) and the "check name" did not resolve the name. That tells me it's
not looking to Exchange (and the GAL) which you suggested should happen.

You could use Outlook Mobile Access.

Or I understand that Global Contact Access
(http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/downloads/global/default.mspx) might
help, although I have never got it to work.
