 I have a mysterious problem which I'm struggling to solve.
The user is connecting his ipaq and during sync the following error occurs:
The instruction at "0x028b420e" referenced memory at "0x0224749a". The
memory could not be read.

He get's this error on his laptop and on the desktop.

Any ideas would be most appreciated

What OS is running on the laptop and desktop? Make sure you have the
latest service pack.

Try uninstalling As 4.2. Reboot the PC. Download AS 4.5 and install.
Reconnect.
