you should see the error in windows' event viewer.
I would uninstall again and search the registry for any orphan leftovers
from the program then reinstall. You can find several registry cleaners
out there, some free, that could do this for you...<make a backup first
of course> but make sure you do the uninstall first otherwise it is
pointless.
once you've uninstalled and deleted orphan reg entries, reinstall and see
if that helps.
Is anything else causing a problem like this? If it's win2k you could
also try applying or re-applying service pack.
