I keep getting an error message when I try to open my Picture file folder.
The message is "Windows Internet Explorer encountered a problem and needs to
close. If you were in the middle of something you were working on it might be
lost".
I then send an error report to Microsoft because if I do not the computer
locks and I have to hit Control/Alt/Delete to get Taskmanager to close the
file. If I go through Microsoft Picture It Program I can get to my pictures.
I am also unable to download any pictures into Microsoft word.
I recently upgraded Media Player 11 and all my picture files were in Media
Player. I removed the update because I thought this may be the issue, but I
am still getting the message.
I downloaded Internet Explorer 7 and though that this may be the issue, but
I am still getting the message.
If anyone knows the answer please send a message.
Thanks,

Without knowing your OS and other applications:

remove IE7 and any toolbars you have in control panel.
Restart.
re-install IE7

would be my first guess. I am not an MS tech; just a friendly helper.
