 Suddenly I started receiving this error code and cannot sync my pocket pc

I am working with iPAQ 1940 with Windows Mobile and Activesync 4.2

I cannot find anything at Microsoft web.

Any help wil be appreciated.

 This is sync engine failure. I would suggest reboot the device.

Hui,

Actually, yesterday the PDA blocked (I ignore if it had the same origin) and
needed to hard reset it.

Now I am trying to recover the old association with my PC.

I had that error message. I had recently added a new 2 GB miniSD card.
It was the culprit. I was able to soft reset after taking the card out,
and i didn't get the error code anymore and it worked fine. Hope this
helps,

Hi

I read elsewhere that someone had removed the sync of their emails and the
error stopped. I did the same and all my other syncs suddenly worked (sigh
of relief - my contacts and calendar were one again....).

The problem now is how to reliably sync my emails (still turned off) if it
blocks the sync mechanism?

I use MS Outlook
