Are you running any firewall software? Using any VPN software?

firewall clients installed? YES:Sygate Security Agent (SSA) v4.1
VPN software installed? YES Cisco VPN Client 3.1.x w/ authentication tool
(ActivCard).

BUt even if I disable these services and run local. The problem still
exisits. I'm trying to sync with my local desktop. I now get a server busy
error

Some firewalls will continue to block network traffic, even if they
are disabled. Try uninstalling the firewall software - if you can
connect, the firewall software is blocking the traffic. Ditto with the
VPN client.
