Only fix that works is to uninstall Outlook through control Panel, reboot,
and then reinstall Outlook.

I tried the suggest repair option first, but that did not work.

I backed up Outlook, did as above, and normal synching returned.

I did not have to delete partnership.

When syncin to an exchange server 85010014 is a server error that must be
investigated by your network administrator

when syncing with Outlook in offline you will need to put outlook in online
mode during your first sync any susquent syncs after that can be in offline
mode.
If you are using a VPN server is the traffic from device to exchage server
being blocked by the VPN software (Are you using Desktop passthrough to
connect to the exchange server)

This error code will even show up on a home computer not even connected to a
network.
I just bougth this new device (audiovox/utstarcom 6700) and it will not sync
with either my home or
work Outlook 2003 (neither are on a network). I have tried everything the
Micorsoft and UTStarcom
recommend and nothing. Get this the last solution MS gave was to un-install
Outlook 2003 and install 2002! So seeing I was desperate I did that and it
still did not work.
Does anyone have a real solution to the very big problem?
thanks in advance.
Dean

Dean,
Let me get some information so I know what you are seeing. ( I want
to get all the information without making any assumptions on what your
configuration is)
Are you syncing to your desktop (tell me separately each computer) Outlook
or are you syncing to an exchange server directly with the device (no
desktop sync)
How do you have Outlook on your computer setup?
What are you syncing (notes, email, tasks.....) and to what are you syncing
them to (exchange server for email, desktop for tasks....)

Do you have any firewall clients installed?
Do you have any VPN software installed?
Do you have Script blocking turned on?

When do you see the error? is it when you are syncing a particular thing
(contacts, inbox, tasks....)
