I am trying to download turboCADv12 from a CD. My system runs: Vshield,
Norton Ghost, Norton Antivirus, McAfee AMD Athlon XP Processor Model 1700
(1.47GHz) 512MB SyncDRAM Total System Memory 80GB Hard Drive Integrated
Savage4 AGP 3D Graphics with 8MB Allocated as Video Memory Microsoft Windows
XP Home
My problem is when I try to install TurboCADv12 from cd on my Windows XP
machine I get "ERROR1324: the path My pictures contains an invalid
character". I have tried installing the CD on the hard drive. I took the
application to work and installed it without problems on that system the runs
Norton. I tried to uninstall McAfeeVirus Scan but ran into problems. During
uninstall I had the error: 0000 1324000 0000 00000000 00000000 00 0000000
000000000 after clicking that window I get Fatal Error during installation. I
went to Microsoft web site and downloaded and ran Windows Malicious Software
Removal Tool and it found no files infected. I went to AcAfee web site and
downloaded an uninstall program and now I can not locate McAfee on my
machine. However I still am having the same problem when trying to load
this TurboCadv12 application. I use my PC as a tool and have never been
interested into getting deep into PC problems and this ignorance is one of my
problems installing TurboCADv12.
Any ideas are welcome.
