Hi,
I'm having problems applying a security policy with the Security
Configuration Wizard. I'm working on a lab. I have 3 boxes. 1 DC + 2
Member Servers with IIS and SCW. I ran SCW on MS01 to create a policy for
MS02. This completed successfully. Next I attempted to apply this template
running SCW from MS01 onto MS02, and this is when the process fails and I
get the following error:
0x800704b8 Error creating file
c:\windows\security\msscw\rollbackfiles\rbkscwaudit.inf An extended error
has occurred.
I tried running the SCW locally on MS02, but get the same error. Tried
rebooting both member servers, with no changes.
Next thing I did is I edited the policy and at the Audit Settings, I changed
the default setting "Audit successful activities" over to "Do not audit". I
saved this policy as a new file. Then went ahead and applied it, but it
gives me the same error, except that now it fails with the services.inf file
instead of the rbkscwaudit.inf file.
Could you please advice?
