Outlook mail profile got messed up while reinstalling Outlook XP 2002.
Deleted and then established a new profile and, therefore, a new Outlook.pst
file. ActiveSync then indicated my mobile device had never been synched
with Outlook before, so had to go through an initial synch. Looked like
this initial synch was going well until an error message from Activesync
(3.8) to the effect:
Their was no response from your mobile device while checking for out-of-date
contacts. Disconnect your mobile device and try again, etc.
Same message for Calendar and Tasks. Have disconnected and soft reset the
mobile device several times, but the problem and error message persist.
What is causing this and what is the workaround?
