What breaks if you remove the "Enable network COM+ access" service under
Application Server subcomponents in "Add/Remove Windows Components"?

Hi Will,

Obviously anything that depends on remote (i.e. network) access
to use of COM components. For many, simple servers this would
be nothing. The more common things encountered might be MSDTC
or remote management. Products that depend on specific "enterprise
service" type environments (cluster services, biztalk, exchange, mom,
sharepoint portal, etc.) could be expected to need this remoting.
