hi,
In Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2), when I try to use the Emulator
ActiveSync Connection Tool (for WWE Pocket PC - SDK Emulator), I can't
connect using ActiveSync.
There are two cases:
1. either I don't receive any error message. (Click on the green Sync button
and nothing happens, and the green buton remains enabled)
2- or the green button is disabled, the red (Stop) button is enabled but
I receive the error message "critical communications services has failed to
start. Try resetting the mobile device, and then connect again". I tried to
reset it several times but in vain.
I use ActiveSync 3.7.1
Interesting is that before it worked just fine for several weeks, and
suddenly it stopped working at the next day. I installed the ActiveSync
again, but it didn't help. No firewall is enabled.
Any ideas?
