Hi

How does Blackberry's email push system work? Is it the case that
whenever you get an email at your Exchange server, the wireless
provider (e.g. T-Mobile) gets notified, and makes a GPRS connection to
your phone and uploads the email (all in the background)?

Please enlighten.

Thanks

As long as all the pieces are in place, that's about it. Your Exchange
server needs to be running RIMs Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) software
to connect your server to their server, which actually does the push to and
through the providers.

Good paper here.
