Hi,
Does anybody know of some relevant study (or studies) that estimated
the curve of Earth's electromagnetic flux?
I'm interested in Earth's own background radiation, especially in
longer frequencies, and if it can be measured (by orbiting satellites
for example) or at least statistically estimated.
A vast number of different sources contribute to Earth's
electromagnetic flux. They range from military and civil radar
stations, TV and radio towers, to microwave ovens and even large
buildings. All these sources can't just be added up because
electromagnetic radiation is a wave (time dependent vector) and not a
scalar.
Therefore I'd like to know if anybody has undertaken a study that
tried to come up with the curve of Earth's electromagnetic spectrum
since this is no small or trivial task.
Many thanks,
Marko
