I am having a continuing problem of the windows explorer hanging during
directory queries
Here is the error message that is being reported to Microsoft.
This error makes my media Center unusable. I am about to give up. Everything
was working great until right aftermarch.
szAppName:Explorer.exe SZAppVer: 6.0.2900.2180.SZMod Name: HungApp
SZModVer:0000 Offset:0000000.
I notice other users are reporting problems too.
What were the 2 "patches" concerning windows explporer secuity fixes.
Do I need to back of these patches
Further info:
MCE 2005 fully Patched, Sony RG-34g, Year old. 2 gig mem, 4 attached UBS 250
gig Hard Drives.
Anyone has any ideas. I have already restored from before march the system
and still have the same problem when i put all the patches and updates on.
