...well that's exactly what my family does. We have a linksys multi-media
extender that sits in our living room in the component cabinet. We also have
a network connection to it (wired, in our case for better performance). We
download from MovieLink and the movies are directly viewable on the
wide-screen t.v. using the remote control unit that came with the linksys
extender. The quality is "excellent". We have the linksys extender
connected to the tv. via component cables for very high quality movies.
Naturally, these movies can also be seen on the multi-media pc which resides
in our bedroom. I usually download the movies from there. However, the
MovieLink connection viewable via the extender allows us to see "trailers"
for their existing movies as well so we can review which ones we want to
download for later viewing....When I originally downloaded MovieLink I
half-expected the movies to be "unviewable" via the extender. But they work
well with the extender from LinkSys. Hope this helps. There are plenty of
links to learn more about extenders elsewhere in this forum with their
capabilities/limitations...
