I posted the following in the main PocketPC newsgroup but then I noticed
this ActiveSync newsgroup and wondered if I should've posted here.
(apologies for the redundancy)

Hmm... no takers on this question I guess.

Then does anyone know of a good website/forum for questions of this variety?

Thx.

This is the best place. I think you're just the first one who wondered.
You *might* be able to get technical support via either the phone
manufacturer or the cell phone company through which you bought it (if any).
There are a number of Pocket PC sites that you could look at, but many of
those people read here, too.

Thanks Paul.

I previously looked at a lot of PocketPC websites and couldn't find any that
had reasonably active technical forums on WinMobile/OutlookMobile issues
like this. The average thread response counts I saw were 0-1. :-(

I also recently posted into a private MS newsgroup (for partners) called
microsoft.private.directaccess.exchange.mobility. Maybe I'll get lucky
there?

It's a Verizon/Samsung phone and my limited experience with both their phone
support tells me that it'd most likely be a waste of time asking such a
low-level WM6 question to them. Maybe last resort.

Anything's possible, but, since this really is an ActiveSync question and
not an Exchange one, I don't know.

You might start the ball rolling now, since I wouldn't expect anyone
actually *there* at Verizon to know the answer; they'd have to ask
Microsoft, something that you'd have to convince them to do, too, for that
matter.
