I tried to download "GoogleEarth" from the Google download site. I get a
message on the status bar that downloading is taking place. (over 10Meg)
After a couple of seconds I get amessage on the status bar that downloading
is "Done". Not near enough time. I also get a blank screen with a small
square (about 1/4 in)in the upper left corner. This small square contains a
tiny red square a green circle and a blue triangle. I have seen this before
but I can't rember when. Can any body tell me what is going on? running XP
Pro with service pack 2 and Mcaff software. I got the same thing with Norton
running.

You might want to contact Google and ask them, rather than here, a newsgroup
that supports the Media Center Edition operating system.

I've heard of this happening before, and believe that the issue is various
antivirus and/or antispyware packages.
