KML is Google Map version of XML

I tried some example here

http://earth.google.com/kml/index.html

with my data, but doesn't work.
The tutorial there is not so good neigther.
Is there a book or web site explain KML better?

I found the tutorial (http://www.keyhole.com/kml/kml_tut.html) quite
straight forward. If your KML is short (say no more than 30 lines) then post
it and I'll take a look at it for you.
