Well... not sure what the problem is, but we did notice that the
msExchMailboxSecurityDescriptor for people having issues was massive long
with dupes and everything. We corrected by having the user export all the
mail to a pst. Deleted exchange attributes from user account. puged the
mailbox and then mail-enabled the user with a new mailbox. User then
imported all the emails from the pst.
After doing this, the msExchMailboxSecurityDescriptor looks like this:
O:<SID>G:<SID>D:(A;CI;CCDCRC;;;PS)
where <SID> is the sid of the person who created the mailbox.
one line. that's it. As long as that was the only entry, it worked fine.
The minute we changed mailbox permissions or moved the mailbox to another
store, it added all the rest of the ACLs from the message store and
DirectPush didn't work anymore.
