The programs listed in the MCE guide for my digital stations are incorrect.
They show the analog program for that channel. I have a Hauppauge
WinTV-HVR-1600 tuner card. It has 2 inputs. 1st) analog - which I have hooked
to cable (channels 2-78) and 2nd) digital - which is hooked to an antenna to
receive free over the air signals. My local public broadcast station has 1
analog and 2 digital transmissions. They are often 3 different programs in
the same time slot. I checked zap2it and the programs are listed correctly
there. I have tried to edit the DIGITAL listing under settings for the MCE
guide but the “list” to choose from only includes the analog cable channels,
NO digital channels listed?

I am having the same problem.

I am trying to find channel listings for KQED-DT5 (9.5 in the bay area). I
have also checked the Zap2it web site and the listings are correct for
KQED-DT5, but under "Guide/Edit Digital TV Listings", only the main channel
(KQED) is listed, thus I cannot set up channel 9.5.

Have you found a solution for this problem?

After futher research I don't think there is a solution for my problem. My
understanding is that MCE does not go to zap2it for the listing in the guide
directly but goes to a microsoft database that is constructed by microsoft
with information they get from zap2it. The only work around I found was to
setup the MCE guide as if you had digital cable and select only the channels
you get with analog cable and OTA digital. Any channel that you get that is
not covered in the digital cable listings will not list correctly.
