Hi - I've been having the same problem as others, getting that Digital Audio
Service blue screen. I used to be able to view fine, until recently. Now, I
have to open the file using the Windows Media Player, and then I can view the
recording.

I've been reading the threads where the suggestion is to update the TV tuner
driver. How do I do that? How do I know what TV tuner is installed? I did
a Windows Update and it didn't detect any drivers that I needed to update.

I know this must be a basic question for this board, but any help is
appreciated! I looked under Device Manager, and didn't recognize anything.

In addition, it appears as though I have another problem that I didn't use
to have. Now, I cannot burn the recording to a DVD within the Media Player.
When I start the DVD recording process, it assumes that I want to make a data
DVD. The only way I can record the video to DVD is using another program
(Sonic). Is anyone else experience this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Note that updating the TV tuner driver may enable future recordings to be
played correctly, but it doesn't help play your existing recordings.
Several of us commenting to Aaron's blog, and e-mailing him directly (he is
wonderful to make himself available like this), are having trouble playing
back recordings made after Rollup2 was installed and before upgrading our TV
tuner drivers. But it seems updating the TV tuner drivers at least lets us
record stuff that we can play back without the Digital Audio Service screen.
