For a long time I was able to see photos and the like with quick time, until
I started getting a prompt box to say : Picture Viewer has encounted a
problem and needs to close. I have taken Quick time off and reinstalled it
but the problem is still there.
If your open the prompt box the error report reads: AppName:
pictureviewer.exe AppVer: 7.4.1.14 ModNme: quicktime.qts. ModVer: 7.4.1.14
Offset: 00aac6bb. The final box shows
With the final prompt box being Exception information Code: 0xc0000005 Flags
0x00000000 .... etc etc Window NT 5.1 Buid 2600 CPU Vendor code with the
following files included in the report being
C:\DOCUME~1\Peter\Locals~1\TEMP9f_appcompat.txt
I am running windows XP with a rececent upgrade to version 3
Any suggestions I have taken it off and reinstalled with no joy.

This is a Media Center newsgroup, try posting your question in a more
appropriate forum, perhaps an Apple Quicktime forum or XP General.

You might also check Apple support to see if there are any issues with SP3.
