Please log in for more thread options At this point, Kris, the Media Center Edition rides on top of Windows XP
Pro. Unless you have the two specific needs as Jason pointed out in his
post, you'll not notice the difference. MCE is a separate "application" if
you will, and unless you launch it you've got XP Pro at your disposal just
as you currently do. Even if you have MCE running, like in a sized window
to catch up on news, etc., you can still run your applications normally.
