Hi. I have an iPAQ 210, running windows mobile 6.0 trying to use Activesync
4.5 (XPPro with SP-3). I have removed AS 4.5, used Windows uninstaller from
add/remove. I have used windows install cleaner. I have deleted the folder
from Program files. I still can not get AS 4.5 to recognize my new iPAQ. I
have the McAfee ports set in the firewall. Yet when i run the AS touble
shooter it still tell me that it has a Port 990 error. Any help would be
appreciated.

After messing around with this for two days and an hour and a half with HP
support, I stumbled across a fix. I found it at:

show/hide quoted text
box. Hit ok. Closed then did a soft reset. The iPAQ 210 now syncs with my
office pc and my home pc.
